Well, what a nice way to start a month. The beginning of September saw myself and my fellow Holts alumni attend our long-awaited graduation ceremony. It was a lovely event in the grand Gibson Hall with drinks and canapés a-plenty, attended by many press and industry faces. I was very honoured (and surprised) to win the Goldsmsiths’ Company ‘One to Watch’ award, which is now gracing my mantelpiece until I figure out where to keep it. It’s the first award I’ve ever won – I hope it won’t be the last!

The rest of the month has been a little more down-to-earth; I have been working on some new designs, coming up with some ideas for Christmas and photographing some of my more recent creations. Nine new photos have been added to the gallery, viewable here. I’m looking forward to getting back to the bench soon though – the making is the best bit!
