I have been working on some lovely commissions and bespoke pieces over the last few weeks, and here’s a few snaps of a couple of them…
A variation on my signature pendant, this bespoke version features a solid 18 carat gold centrepiece which adds a lovely warm glow reflecting off the frosted silver surfaces. In addition, this client wanted the chain to be removable (I normally use fixed chains for safety as these pendants are quite weighty), so I designed a custom bail featuring a tiny hand pierced crack and a single gold granule as a highlight. The back of a piece can sometimes be just as special as the front!
Another client approached me with a request for a custom-made bracelet as a wedding gift for her friend. The bracelet was to feature an opal and be made purely in silver, so I created a cabochon setting ringed by a scattering of tiny granules to frame the lovely iridescent stone. The delicate chain is interspersed with hammered rings which echo the shape and texture of the findings.
More to come, including a couple of very exciting pieces which are still works in progress. And of course, please do get in touch via the Contact page with any requests – commissions are always welcome!
